Hi, my name is Brendan! While I have interned with Mirazon on and off in the past, I officially joined the Mirazon team in October of 2018!
For as long as I can remember, I have always been in front of a computer for some reason or another. From being a little kid and sitting in my father’s lap, watching him play PS1 games like Resident Evil or PC games like Command and Conquer to now where I touch computers daily, be it for educational, work, or entertainment purposes. Information technology is a field that isn’t going to leave us any time soon and I find it important not just for myself to stay ahead of the curve, but to help others stay ahead as well. I enjoy how my problem-solving skills are put to the test and fixing an issue is one of the greatest feelings there is, especially when a customer is happy with the end result.
Previously, I attended the Prosser Career Education Center and went through their computer networking program; there I earned my CompTIA A+ and some Microsoft MTAs covering a vast variety of topics. After my high school career, I attended Ivy Tech, taking classes with a focus on networking and cyber security. It is there that I earned a both an Associates of Applied Science in Network Infrastructure and an Associates of Applied Science in Cyber Security/Information Assurance.
Currently, I am looking to continue my academic journey by transferring my credits to a four-year college (perhaps IUS) and obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Finally, I will finish this journey by acquiring the Worldview Certificate at Boyce College.
When I am not at work or studying for my classes, I am usually playing video-games, reading, or spending time with my friends and family. Other, more unique hobbies of mine include bird watching and shopping for antiques!
