At Mirazon, we take security seriously—and we know our clients do, too. That’s why we want to make sure you’re aware of some important updates from our partner, Veeam.

Veeam recently identified and remediated several vulnerabilities in Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows. Importantly, these issues were discovered internally by Veeam’s security team through their own testing programs—they were NOT found in the wild or exploited by attackers.

Some of these vulnerabilities were classified as critical, and fixes are now available for download.

What You Need to Know

Veeam’s internal security and testing programs—along with its Vulnerability Disclosure and Bug Bounty initiatives—help identify and patch potential issues before anyone outside Veeam can exploit them. This proactive approach means you can continue to rely on Veeam’s data protection solutions with confidence, as long as you keep them up to date.

You can read Veeam’s official Knowledge Base article for more details about these vulnerabilities and the corresponding fixes here: Veeam KB4771: Security Updates and Fixes
