Craig Stein

Partner and Co-Founder

Hello, I’m Craig Stein, one of the founding partners of Mirazon. You will not find a better group of people to partner with for your IT services.

Our goal at Mirazon is to become trusted advisors to our customers. We do that by listening to their needs and offering solutions that fit their budget using the most innovative technology available while striving to provide the highest level of customer service.

I have been providing systems consulting since 1992 and became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) in 1994. I have worked with Windows since version 1.0. I try to keep up with all of the same certifications as my engineering team and was the first of our group to pass the Windows 7 Beta Exam. Our team never stops learning and that is what makes our jobs so exciting!

My responsibilities at Mirazon are focused on meeting with customers and architecting solutions to meet their needs. I also do quite a bit of evangelizing on the technologies that we offer in order to educate our customers on what is available.

In my spare time I enjoy working on and restoring old cars and spending time with my wife Kelli and our big dogs. Golf, scuba diving, snow and water skiing, paddling are among my non-technical interests.

I am a graduate of Trinity High School and the University of Kentucky and attend Southeast Christian Church.

Favorite Book

The Bible is a mainstay. Most of my reading is technical in nature to keep up with my changing industry. Predictable Success had a great impact on me and I am always trying to apply it to our business. My brother Gil turned me onto the golf book Harvey Penick’s Little Red Book and it has changed my game for the better.

Favorite Food

A good steak, carne asada tacos, PF Chang’s beef and broccoli.

Dream Vacation

Eighteen holes at Pine Valley or Kaanapali Beach or scuba diving and shark fishing on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Favorite Music

Mozart as background when working, the rest depends on the mood. You might catch me listening to U2, The Clash, Led Zeppelin, Nickel Creek or a hundred other bands. I use Pandora or Spotify almost every day.
