We lost our dear, longtime Mirazonian, Doug Lee, on November 10, 2017 after a protracted battle with Lymphoma. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elaine, son, Jeremy and daughter-in-law Kelly; granddaughter, Ava; sisters, Renee Clement (and her husband, Lem), Kim Renneker (and her husband, Jerry) and Kelli Stein (and her husband, Craig); and many aunts, uncles, siblings-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him.
Here’s what his coworkers had to say about him:
“For the time that I knew Doug he was always quick with a joke and quicker to lend a hand for whatever needed to be done. I can’t the count the number of times he saved my bacon when I needed something while at a client site.”
“I have never known anyone else like Doug. He was the most humble, hardworking, generous, and stubborn man I have met. I say stubborn because…we all know it, he was! … I wish he could have known at that moment how much respect I had for him and his determination.”
“He was always kind, always generous, and always a servant. He was always willing to take on any random task I needed done. When you left something in his hands, you knew it was would be taken care of.”
But let’s also let Doug speak for himself. Here is the bio he wrote for us!
My name is Doug Lee, my experience in IT began with Citizens Fidelity Bank in 1990 where I performed troubleshooting and maintenance on their ATM network — including software upgrades — and maintenance.
I attended Sullivan University in 2005 to work towards my MCSE certification. In July I came on board with Mirazon working as a Helpdesk Technician, working at customer locations specializing in desktop and network support and helpdesk problems.
The Mirazon Group offers system monitoring through a software package we call System Vision. My duties include monitoring System Vision for problems, and monitoring the daily backup jobs from our customers. When I find problems or errors, I notify the lead engineer with the information to provide our customers with the best service possible.
Our team here at Mirazon has an abundance of knowledge and experience, my association with them has been a great learning experience.
