Hey, I’m Carel, and I started working at Mirazon in August 2026.

I’ve always had an interest in technology, but later in life, I realized I also really enjoy helping people solve their tech problems. Getting into IT felt like the logical next step. Before joining Mirazon, I worked for other MSPs in South Africa, where I gained experience helping people tackle their day-to-day IT challenges.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting rid of those frustrating IT issues that get in people’s way. I also enjoy helping junior techs grow their skills and reach their potential. I’d describe myself as a patient tech with a sense of humor who’s always ready to lend a hand.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dogs, reading, and playing video games.
